| Age Requirements:
TWOS must turn 2 before September 1st of
the year enrolled.
THREES and FOURS must turn 3 or 4 before December 1st of
the year enrolled
YOUNG FIVES (Pre-K) must turn 5 before December 31st of the year enrolled.
Priority on avalible space in the nursery school
is as follows:
1. Currently enrolled children
2. Siblings of previously and currently enrolled children.
(A weighted ranking or lottery may be used if demand exceeds
space)
3. Children of South Presbyterian Church members.
4. The general public.
Categories 1 - 3
Must notify the school of their intentions to enroll
prior to November. 1 of the year preceding the September entrance
desired
The General Public
May phone the school between the last week in September
and the first school day in November to fill out an application
for the lottery which will be drawn on the first school
day in November for the following year's enrollment. An
OPEN HOUSE is held for prospective families on Saturday
morning in late September.
It is not first come first serve
The last call has the same chance as the first call. A lottery
is held if more applications are received than places available.
You will be notified BY MAIL within the week of the lottery
of your status:
1 - yes
2 - waiting list (1/2 the size of the class)
3 - no
If you are in the YES category, we request that you visit
a class in session - without your child - at a mutually
convenient time. We do not interview children. After visiting,
we ask that you give us your decision to enroll or if not
within the next two days. We will request at that time a
non-refundable deposit equal to 1/10 the current tuition
rate plus a $75.00 (USD) registration fee.
